Project Liaison/Administrator (5-10 Years of Experience) - Glastonbury, CT

GM2 is a fast-growing firm with over 150 employees with offices in CT, MA, NH, RI and FL. GM2 is offering an opportunity for a project liaison/administrator to join our talented, multi-disciplinary team in our Glastonbury, CT office.  You will be part of GM2’s team involved in the management and delivery of bridge improvement projects on behalf of the CT Department of Transportation (CTDOT).  Acting as an extension of CTDOT engineering staff under their Consultant Liaison Bridge Program, GM2 provides administrative and technical support to CTDOT, oversees and coordinates with consultant engineering firms, and manages project activities, schedules and  budgets. The position requires a blend of strengths, including technical, communication, organizational, multi-tasking, and interpersonal skills.  You will answer directly to and work closely with an experienced GM2 project manager. On the technical side, you will be responsible for working with and coordinating the work of various GM2 technical professionals in the preparation of project studies involving structural engineering, traffic engineering, roadway design, hydraulics, environmental permitting, geotechnical engineering and utility coordinators.  On the administrative side, you will be responsible for assisting the project manager in overseeing project design progress and final delivery, managing project schedules and costs, preparing project documents and correspondence, and working closely with CTDOT’s project manager and project engineer. Senior IT Support Specialist

Location(s): Glastonbury, CT with flexibility across MA, NH, RI, FL offices Position Overview: GM2 Associates, Inc is seeking a seeking a motivated and experienced Senior IT Support Specialist to join our forward-thinking IT team. Reporting to the IT Operations Manager, you will serve as a senior technical escalation point, mentor junior staff, and ensure the stability and efficiency of  IT infrastructure and support systems.  In this role, you will also lead initiatives that drive technical improvement and operational excellence using the latest technologies. You will help modernize our IT environment through process automation, cloud optimization, and proactive infrastructure enhancements, playing a critical role in shaping a resilient, secure, and scalable technology ecosystem. This position may require occasional travel to GM2 branch offices and availability for weekend coverage as needed. Key Responsibilities: Lead day-to-day IT support (hardware, software, networking, AV systems) in Windows/macOS environments Mentor/help junior helpdesk staff and manage escalations Maintain user accounts via Active Directory/Office 365; manage permissions and access Deploy, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices Ensure network health, security updates, antivirus deployment, and patch management Create and maintain IT documentation: SOPs, configuration guides, knowledge base articles Provide remote and occasional on-site support at GM2 offices in the Northeast Collaborate with external vendors/IT partners Qualifications: Educational - Bachelor’s Degree Computer Science, Information Systems, or related equivalent experience preferred.
